Sorry The O-zone Show was cancled Due to Hurricane Charley !!

The Irrational house is out of commission...well out of electricity for a while anyway- living by candle light, no AC, no frig, no ice or hot water. THIS BLOWS! it's alright though we got to experience a tornado touchdown in our neighborhood. Trees uprooted falling on houses n'shit. Sidewalks ripped up, front yards reorginized into swiss cheese, cats and dogs sleeping together, the end of the world as we know it. We're all alright though just a couple more tornado warnings and we're in the clear. Too much fucking yardwork and we don't know what to do with ourselves without a fucking computer or an amp. It's inspiring an acoustic set, look out for it. maybe an initimate setting for some close friends, candles and an few accoustic songs...

Aggressive and melodic with a tinge of hardcore and a touch of depressive rock, Irrational has been compared to A Prefect Cirlce, 30 Seconds To Mars, Incubus and linkin park. formerly called Slipjoint - Originally from Tampa - the two remaining members of that band, singer/guitarist Jaysin Tropf and drummer Aaron smekal, migrated to Orlando and attempted to continue slipjoint by joining up with bassist Garrett Jankowski and DJ/Samper Andy Rajala (a.k.a. DJ moody). After some writing and a hanful of shows, the members decided to change the band name to Irrational. "The time had come to let go of the past and form an entirely new concept", said Tropf. "we all moved into a house together and did nothing but write and perform..."
Since then, Irrational has accomplished quite a bit in a short amount of time: recorded and released a full-length CD, produced two independent music videos, and signed a shopping deal with K-Vest Magaement (12 stones, Atomship, Wind-up records), among other achievements. The K-Vest deal came about when the band got a call from Kenny Vest, who said he had run across Irrational's website and was interested in the band. Without knowing who Vest was, the band members looked hime up and were stoked to see the he was the man who broke 3 Doors Dow on radio and the manager of 12 Stones who was currently on tour with Evenescence. Blown away, Irrational set up a meeting with Vest. After inking the deal, the band had an interesting next week. "Monday, we signed with Kenny, " described Tropf. "Tuesday, got a phone call from Senior VP of A&R for Windo-Up records. It went something like this: "you're not going to beleive this but I'm in Olrlando working with Mark Tremonti (Creed) and I'd like to stop by and hear Irrational play." Half of me wanted to say, "what kind of a fucking joke is this?" of course, the other half of me set up a meeting with the guy. By Thursday, VP A&R of Wind up records was in our garage listening to us play. i don't think any of us slept that week!"
